Refsal Troll

In the Spring of 2008 I spent a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend at the CCA CarveAlong East sponsored by the Mystic Woodcarvers, and got to meet Harley Refsal for the first time. For the day our group had him this is what I carved. Trolls used to be mountain size, but since some of them have emmigrated to the Americas they had to scale down some to blend in. Now it's sometimes hard for Scadinavian Americans to tell the difference between a troll and just a homely looking uncle. For a tip that can help tell the difference, see below...
