Sabol Santa

This was the result of a
three day workshop with David Sabol. Some of the class carved his
Santa with Rudolph pattern from the cover of Woodcarving Illustrated, some
did his Downy woodpecker (beautiful project), the majority of us picked
this leiderhosen, German version. David's original was dancing with
beer steins (celebrating December 26th no doubt). At his suggestion,
I substituted a concertina, others substituted birds and bird houses.
Thanks to David they were all wonderful carving experiences.
