Wood:  butternut Height:  15in Finish:  Satin polyurethane       Faery II  This piece was carved for my daughter Laura as a gift when she graduation from SUNY Oswego.  I carved a unicorn for her when she graduated from high school, and during her junior year at Oswego she discovered a poster by Amy Brown called "Winter Solstice" where a faery was walking next to a unicorn.  The unicorn looked a lot like her carving, and she requested this as a companion piece for it and found me a postcard size copy of her poster.  The "More" button will take you to more pictures.
