HUGS AND KISSES

This sculpture celebrates the relationship between a man and woman. The two figures are dynamic elongated forms rising out of a circle of lips.

I have explored a variety of related themes, love, growth and unity. My intention was to make a personal intimate work out of the rough pallet panels.

I wanted to transform the panels by retaining the original nail hole scars and cracks to create something beautiful rather than trying to hide the imperfections. "
